Gaia

Gaia is very protective of all the members of her clan. Everyone younger than her is considered her child, even though half of those dragons are not directly related to her, and are in fact not even the same breed. Still, whether hatchling or adult, she keeps a close eye on everyone, making sure everyone eats enough, everyone is fairly hygienic, and no one is putting themselves in significant danger. Accomplishing this requires a lot of rules however, and a strong person to enforce them. The wrath Gaia can bring is mumbled about quietly amongst her 'family' because of this.

Still though, when she gets angry it's really out of love. She quickly gets over her anger and becomes concerned, making sure the offender hasn't suffered any injuries from doing something dangerous.

Her excessive doting can be both tedious and welcomed, depending on the circumstances and the dragon she doting on. If someone gets sick she will obsess over them until they get better, feeding them healthy meals, watching their temperature, basically becoming a personal nurse. Again some of the dragons who are more attached to her find this endearing and love being taken care of. Others find it over the top and even annoying at times, yet when asked even those who are bothered by this behavior would still admit to appreciating it.
