The mute lover of Isobel, Medea allowed him to stay because she says he is no longer a man, but a curse Isobel has to live with. He was brought from dead by her, having been dead for about half an hour. He lost his voice, and it appears to have been the only change he went through. He sleeps very little, but eats a lot. He never leaves his lover's side.

He's associated with Parsley.

Parsley is Persephone's signature plant. It was often used to decorate tombs, from which it got associated with death. It is often considered a charm against it, however, and food was often guarded in storages decorated with parsley to prevent rot. It can be used in baths to increase chance of communicating with the dead.
