The soft breath of life filled the old Tundra's lungs, her long eyelashes fluttering open as she gazed around the familiar green woods. There were many young dragons around her, and some that she recognized, though pointedly looking far older than she remembered. As her eyes scanned the crowd she smiled as they rested on a large, scraggly and nervous looking guardian. Slowly she tested her legs, finding that her strength was flowing back into her body faster than she would have recognized. Glancing behind the crowd, the large behemoth of a tree stood behind in the distance, shading even their groves.

Slowly she took a tentative step forward, glancing at the large patriarch, each step getting more confident and fast until she was sprinting towards him, and he towards her, her small body crashing into his larger one with a laugh. The two old friends embraced heavily, hot wet tears leaving damp trails on her fur as her friend Bodhi, now known as Cernunnos, hugged her fiercely.

"I have missed you my friend, so much has changed over the last eight years" he murmered, slowly releasing her back to the ground.

"Aye, much has changed, including a lovely mate I see" she waggled her fluffy eyebrows, laughing at the pastel winged dragoness behind him. "Would you like to know what she's like?" she asked, feeling nothing but elation at being home.
