______ Drogon has always been an oddity. He mysteriously appeared, as a tiny little pup with no memory and only knew his name. The villagers were unsure on how to react, until this kind female Tundra decided to take him in. She was an elderly Tundra with a grey coat, and wings, with warm brown eyes. As Drogon looked up, all he saw was her warm eyes looking at him with unconditional love. As she took him in, the villagers slowly started warming up to him. As he grew older, he wanted to become a warrior to help protect his village but mostly his mother. He wanted to become a protector. As he began to train, through his sweat and blood, his became one of the top warriors in his village. But one night was all it took, to destroy his dream.
______ One night, he was out on patrol with another tundra by the name of Austin, he was a tiny little thing, barely shedding his pup feathers and only up to his shoulder. He was in charge of showing Austin what he need to do and to show him the ropes. They were assigned the south side of the village, that was covered in trees, making it impossible to fly, making it the least fun for Drogon. As he was walking, his gorgeous white coat shown like stars in the moonlight, like a beacon that drew your eyes no matter what you do, with a young grey Tundra walking by his side. As the night drew on, the more he became more uneasy. It was too quiet, no birds flying, no howling, and not even a croak from a frog. With his senses on high alert, he tells young Austin to stay close to him.
______ As Drogon and Asutin began to start walking back, Drogon's senses were going haywire, screaming at him that there was danger near by. They both heard howling in the moonlight, a howl that caused bone wracking chills down there spines. Drogon yelled "run!". As they both ran, they started to hear more howls, growling and started to hear them chasing them. Drogon knew that he needed to make sure Austin make it back, to his ma, pa and his two little sisters. Drogon yelled " Keep running! I will hold them off! Get help!". Austin was stunned at his request but he was still young and scared, " Don'y die!", as he ran .Drogon stopped and he turned around, crouched and ready to fight.
______ As soon as he stopped everything became silent. There was no growling, howling or panting, just complete and utter silence with only his racing heartbeat for company. As he looked forward, he saw many glowing eyes all around him, making him realize there and then, there was no hope for him. [TBC] 2/14
