Born after their father returned to the Court of blood, this latest nest has had more chances and opportunities to learn and hone their abilities to a fine point than they ever could have had out in the Wasteland. From the moment they were old enough to stand, the small nest was invited to be taught in the dusty libraries from even dustier tomes, invited to be taught how to fight and guard and hunt from the far more experienced hunters the court had to offer.

Valtr was the only one of his siblings to actually take up on those lessons. He especially took to the art of battle, watching with star-filled eyes whenever the guards or the hunters of the court practiced their battles. He didn't join in - Instead, he practiced on his own with a crude wooden sword he carved himself out of a branch he found, annoying the other children from the castle with exaggerated, dramatic battle-cries and pokes to the shin.

Now that he's older, he's switched out the wooden thing for a real sword, but his dramatics are all the same, even now that he's on the road and not in the courtyard of a castle...
