Fae

Fae didn't start his life as an Aberration, he was a guardian from the plague lands that wanted to start a new life far away from disease and famine and into a world of magic and wonder.
He can still feel the pull of the plague but feels at home with his new family, taking a mate. He was named after his ability to understand the small dragons, and found a connection with the dazzling Faybe.

Due to their species mechanical isolation (size), they decided to have children through artificial insemination using magic.
Four years of being a guardian, he was given a choice to become an Aberration. Faybe held the scroll in her claws, and Fae saw a chance to become smaller and to hold his mate closer. They had already had children together, several clutches. They raised children together.
His head was split in two as his body radically changed into his new form, both heads equally aligned.
They were merely fae split in twa, speaking in unison unlike the wisdom who is two different heads and minds.

They are not entirely mechanically isolated, biologically incompatible, but they can hold each other tighter than ever.

He has stated he will never take another mate, devoted to Faybe.
