Gon has no artistic talent whatsoever, but she's a skilled mathematician. Her Charge is the clan's treasure hoard, and she takes care of financial matters and record-keeping. She's Vanne's mate and co-founder of the clan, so she holds a lot of authority and isn't afraid to take advantage of it.
Gon struggles with two very conflicting impulses; she must protect her Charge with her life, but it's also really hard to sit in a room filled with treasure all day and not want to spend it. As such, she tends to treat herself a bit more frequently than she probably should. Not that anyone can stop her though -- she's "the only one who knows how to count in this goddamn group of artists," so her position as treasurer remains intact.
