Augie "Duckie" Wells

Even at a young age, Augie proved to be quite the tinkerer. The Fae couldn't help but fiddle with anything that had gears, cogs, or wheels. If it had moving parts, Augie wanted to take it apart to see how it worked, reassemble it, and make 'improvements' along the way. Augie earned his nickname due to a belief that duck tape, also known as duct tape, could fix almost anything. Additionally, Augie was rarely seen without some pieces of the tape stuck to him in some fashion, helping "Duckie" stick.
When it was time to strike out on his own, Duckie attempted to find a home along the cliffs near his previous clan. While a few dragons joined, the place didn't feel right. There was something off, and the small group relocated to the Snowsquall Tundra. When Duckie was once asked why he chose the icy land out of all the others, the only answer he could give was simply because it felt right.
Duckie's clan has grown considerably since starting out. Each member releases their past, including their name, and adopts a new identity. They will always have a place with the clan for as long as they wish it.
Duckie had found his true mate. When Red brought in a small hatchling from outside, there was something about the little one he couldn't put a talon on. When Allie grew up, he was very taken with her.
The name of Duckie's clan changes as often as his attention shifts. Until it feels 'right', the members have come to accept the clan name will change frequently. It's become somewhat of a running gag, but only increases the affection the members feel for their rather quirky clan founder.
In between changing clan names, and sometimes the names of the clan's various units, he tinkers away, improving the clan's home and tools, while clan does what is necessary to continue to grow and thrive. Everyone works well together, and friendships have formed and will strengthen as time goes on.
Recently, Duckie lost Allie to her weak immune system. She never fully recovered from her weakened state whens he was a hatchling. Life moves forward though, there's no scrolling back, so Duckie accepted another mate, and hopes to have somewhere close to the bond he had shared with Allie.
