i8Xtr2A.gif A hush fell over the area- how long ago, you aren't sure. You've lost track of how long you've been here, or even why you came. Soot clings to your claws, permanently tainting them the color of the obsidian silently clicking beneath your claws.

A huff comes from behind you, and you turn, greeted by nothing but air. As you come back around, you see a tent. The entryway is propped open, tent flap floating in the breeze.
There is no wind.

Your curiosity gets the better of you, and you enter, taking in the lavish setting. Shelves line the walls, holding crystals and cloths of various designs, each more mysterious than the last. The shelves should not hold this much.
Tents do not have shelves.

Sitting at the back, her face obscured by smoke, cloth, and beads is the Clanmother. She stares, half-aware. Her eyes bore into you, and you aren't entirely sure that it's you who's being looked at. You cast a glance over your shoulder, finding nothing.
The nothing stares back.
You turn back towards the Clanmother.
