Biography
Potion brewer and sketchy healer
When she isn't darting around with the hatchlings, playing pranks on the shy ones or slinking about at night, Nightingale can be found making all manner of potions or treating the sick. She usually likes to take herself seriously but most of her friends think she's rather deluded and they love her all the more for it.
She is well known in the Citadel for her brewing prowess- she has all of her recipes (learned long ago from an elderly sage whom she followed closely) down pat and is usually rushing about to gather miscellaneous herbs, roots, flowers and juices, leaving behind the flurrying scent of old bark and ointment.
When she first settled in the Citadel, Nightingale attached an old tarp to a wisteria tree of her liking and to another tree not a stone's throw away. Underneath the tarp, in jars of all sizes, she stores her medicines, potions and a menagerie of alien ingredients. Shelves are roughly carved into the trees for extra storage, but most jars hang on wires spread between the trees underneath the tarp so that, when the wind blows, the crowded jars clang together in a sharp cacophony that only Nightingale enjoys. It's no wonder nobody has chosen to live anywhere near her camp- the odd sounds and smells that come from her work are... not enjoyed.
