Ren is actually a dude. Yes *waves hands mysteriously* pay no attention to the female gender symbol...
So this is my boy Ren! He's a scoundrel, thief, and dark magic user (though he usually prefers to use arcane magic for the everyday needs and skirmishes but has no problems laying on the darkness in a real fight.) He may be small but you do not want to get in a fight with this guy. Like I said before, he's a dark magic user and oh golly is he a powerful one! He's easily the most powerful magic user in the group actually.
This is not a dragon you should put your trust in. He's sneaky, clever and usually only does something for somebody if it benefits him. He knows the ins and outs of the (highly illegal) black market dragon trade and won't hesitate to manipulate deals in his favor. Ren also has a reputation in the underground slums of the dragon world as being the bounty hunter called "The Bloody Bastion", known for tracking down anything or anyone with a big enough price on their head. No one is really sure how the name "Bloody Bastion" caught on but it strikes caution and wariness into those who know the dragon attached to the name. He's never actually killed anyone (to my knowledge) but he doesn't hesitate to wreak havoc on his targets if needed.
Not much is known about Ren's past but there are a few curiosities about him. For one thing, he doesn't speak in a monotonous voice like all other faes do. Indeed, he can (and never hesitates too) put inflection and tone into his dark little voice. And though I would never consider him anything less than a dirty rotten scoundrel, every once in awhile Ren shows a strange soft side to him that could possibly be called a conscience. Maybe.

THE SCOUNDREL AND KEEPER OF THE LIBRARY
(He's MALE *waves hands mysteriously* pay no attention to the female gender symbol...)
Theme Song: "Twisted" by Adrian von Ziegler
Ren's Story - Nevermore Island and The Library Far off from the Crystalspine Reaches in the uncharted waters that reach into eternity, there was a small island, known by its inhabitants as Nevermore, wracked by ocean storms and billowing winds. In the center of Nevermore, there was a tall dark tower made of purple brick. This tower was so high that its spire was almost always swallowed up by the gray overcast storm clouds that constantly reigned over this part of the ocean. In this tower there were more books and scrolls than there were stars in the sky. Inside, this great library seemed to spiral on forever as if the tower itself was alive and would let only a select few walk its halls in safety. A magic library, or perhaps a cursed library, where the walls seemed to shift and rumble in their agitation or elation. The keepers of this vast expanse of secret and dark knowledge knew how to calm the library's rumbles when the storms outside grew fierce. Veritas, a young pearlcatcher, was the sole keeper of the library since the last keepers pasted on, until she returned one night from her regular patrol of the island carrying an arcane egg... She brought the egg to her study and placed it in a nest of soft cloth. The library creaked in curiosity and Veritas could feel the vibrations of its peering eyes. She placed a dark paw on the brick wall of the room and began to hum a soft soothing melody. The air in the library shuddered for a moment before she heard her melody echoing in the floors above. The library was singing the lullaby with her. After a time the egg hatched into a rusty-winged Fae. He grew quickly and chose his own name as Ren. Veritas taught him many of the secrets of the library and the library seemed to accept this new being as another Keeper. Ren learned many dark spells and ancient magics from the scrolls and Veritas's instruction. More coming soon! The Necromancer Coming Soon! Powers and Skills Coming Soon!
