Before the Storm Arkaedus was once a rejuvenated young guardian dragon and held high hopes of the future with his mate in the Cloudscrape Crags. He knew his mate from his childhood, growing up in the cold peaks and winter falls. As the seasons grew overtime, his family has pushed him about an arranged mate and offspring. However, he felt extremely pressured over the success of an heir and Spae came to offer her support of an unwanted arranged mate with a stranger. Together, they vowed their marriage and life that lead to the birth of 3 hatchlings. Arkaedus was finally getting comfortable with the idea of a family, with a son and two daughters. However, an unexpected and disastrous storm took over the peaks, the worst that many elder dragons have experienced. Many dragons, young and old have perished in the storm, and that included his mate and his children. On the brink of the storm, Arkaedus managed to survive with a broken spirit and heart, carrying him through the Frigid Floes, Starfall Isles and finally resting in The Scarred Wasteland. The Wandering Arkaedus, coming from a land filled with ice, white snow and cold purity, had not expected a place to be festering in waste and rot. However, as soon as he arrived, many dragons of lesser status flocked to his side. Lies and deceit spilling from their lips as they interrogated him of his whereabouts and his destination; which may have included some threats and faux refuge. He felt a fight starting to break out as dragons argued who had the rights to which items he held, which was scarce as Arkaedus had no possessions after The storm with the exception of his birdskull necklace.
