Biography
Elegant yet haughty, Dahlia is the representative of the Plague flight within Delphine's lair. She created this role for herself because Delphine had refused to appoint or acknowledge a rep when they had lived in the Scarred Wasteland. With no real interest in the procedures or politics of her new rank, Dahlia is greatly interested in the respect and honour she receives. She always carries herself with distinction and is difficult to converse with or even approach, deliberate on her part thanks to her secretive inclinations.
After the move from the Wasteland, Dahlia became more interested in ensuring her role as the representative of the Plague flight was known. The lair's leadership wanted to offer a sanctuary, which was part of the reason Delphine had initially given to Dahlia as to why there was no reverence for Plaguebringer when the lair had been formed initially. In order to seem more welcoming, they did not want to have much of a connection to the deity of death and despair, instead opting for a unique approach. This idealistic thinking was both foolish and irritating to Dahlia. She was a traditionalist and generally hostile towards the dragons she deemed unfit for survival.
Dahlia does not associate with the more untrustworthy elements in the lair, except in the rare instance she might seek the service of the lair's alchemist. She is proud to stand alone with her pride. She is a survivor and her body is free of the scars so common among her kind. Her majestic appearance is fuelled by an insecure vanity, a sickness of its own that impacts her just as deeply as the worst physical scars might harm the lair's defenders. Her fear of becoming unsightly could be considered a severe paranoia, if only someone knew.
