Quillan

Quillan was the first dragon that Belle offered a place in the clan to. She found him living in a cave all by himself. He was studying some nearby ruins. He had a great setup and made some fantastic discoveries, but he was lonely. Belle immediately offered him a place in her new clan, but he refused. He said his research was much too important, but in reality, the idea of joining a clan made him nervous. Surely no would would want him to join their family. Why him? What's so good about him? No one else liked him all that much. No one else cared about him. But Belle was persistent. She kept visiting him, pushing him to join the clan. Finally, he agreed to visit, to get her to leave him alone. Once he got to the clan, everyone welcomed him. They treated him with respect and fairness, and offered him a place with their clan, their family. Someone actual wanted him to be their friend and ally. Once he saw how caring the clan was to other dragons, he packed up his things and set up shop in the cliffs with the other dragons in his new clan. Now, not only does he research those old ruins, he researches for his clan. Studying the stars for better flight paths, examining herbs for healing, discovering the best minerals for armor, he even gets his own room!
