Shiira
dark mage
The undisputed matriarch of the militant Dogrose Drift clan. Her skill with automatons make many think she should have hailed originally from the Stormcatcher's brood, but few will say this to her face, as she is almost fanatically loyal to her Arcane flight. Those who suggest otherwise run the risk of tasting the magical, martial gifts granted to her by the Arcanist.

Rumour has it that she has turned her attention to the darker arts of death magic and necromancy, and that her steel, stone and wooden creations are infused with the souls of her departed kin. Shiira herself will deny it, but her current mate Ryidyel was once overheard remarking;

"She loved him, and he loved her, but she was born to late. I guess she was scared of being alone."
