A tiny, orphaned, unhatched water egg broke open upon the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. From within, a young Tundra emerged. His wide, blue eyes blinked at the world around him, so spanning and bright. Bright, not bright enough. He found himself hungry fast, with no one to care for him. The tiny thing picked his way into the water and began to forage for his meal for the very first time, nearly swept away by the powerful current. He was lonely, but he was curious and kind. Beasts rarely attacked him, other dragons largely ignored him until he sought them out, excitedly keen on gathering information. He spent a great deal of his youth following the tide, nomadic and brave to whatever the world had in store for him. He gave himself a name, forgot it, ended up calling himself Ix because it was easiest to remember. Perhaps it was his easy-going nature, or his stellar natural charisma. He never found himself in too big a mess. He was always capable of crawling back up with a smile, having made a friend along the way.

At the pinnacle of his young adulthood, he came across a tiny Fae. She too had no home, nor did she seem particularly interested in keeping one. She did however, have a hideout, which she eventually lead him to after she steadily built up a trust towards him. Her name was Heveli, and that hideout gradually evolved into a lair as other wandering dragons crossed paths with the two friendly hosts. Heveli didn't seem to mind sharing, set in the idea that nothing truly belonged to anybody.

Ix became obsessed and involved in exploration. It had always been a passion of his. A tinkerer and a self-proclaimed adventurer, nowadays, he's hardly at home, leaving his android replica behind in his place. The android is like him in many ways--inviting, kind, generous, and aloof. It still looks like a Tundra too, created at a time during which he was indeed a Tundra himself. Due to his constant absence and Heveli's flighty nature, Trillian eventually became the true leader of the lair--though all of its residents, including herself, still obey any of his requests as if he is still their superior. He doesn't seem very fond of such power however. He prefers to keep his residents like family and friends, rather than soldiers or subjects.

Whenever the flesh and blood Ix is at home, he tries his best to catch up with things, but he doesn't step on Trillian's toes at all. Most of the clan members are happy to see him. He doesn't pry and he respects everyone's privacy. Getting any personal time with him however is the real challenge, as he often preoccupies himself with numerous projects when he's home.

After one of his latest missions, he came back as a Spiral--once a Tundra. He is incredibly clumsy in this new body, but accepts it as a strange twist of fate.
