"The center of the earth is closer than you think." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ There's something deeply wrong with this dragon. This dragon does not look like a true dragon at all, but rather a mimicry of one with teeth too big for it's mouth and too many limbs to be called correct. This dragon is too large to be called a Skydancer. This dragon has no eyes. This dragon sees everything. Aegia wasn't always like this. He was beautiful and strong, once. An ambitious delver who's drive never left him, Aegia, along with his partner Reishekeiv, were the first dragons to begin actively unearthing and cataloging the relics that litter the land the clan occupies. The two decided to split the work equally among themselves to cover the large amount of ground they had before them. Reishekeiv staying in the area that is now home to the 7th Court, and Aegia braving the undocumented land that came to be known as the Black Desert. This worked well at first. It was a very efficient plan, but as time went on Aegia started to notice something odd when comparing his notes to that of his Imperial lover. The Black Desert area had a much higher frequency of relics, and all of them were highly magically charged when compared to those from the 7th Court area. One could even call them volatile. The Skydancer was beginning to show signs of illness due to exposure. Reishekeiv insisted that Aegia spend some time in the main parts of the lair recovering. This seemed to help him, but dragons that went anywhere near him reported headaches coupled with general feelings of unease and sickness similar to the Skydancer's own. After this, a decision was made by the higher ups, without the knowledge of either of the two delvers, that Aegia be sent back to the Black Desert permanently. He didn't reject this when told. If anything, it only made him want to work harder. If Aegia was going to get sick in the pursuit of knowledge then he was going to get as much done as he possibly could. He had to get enough information before it was too late. He had to get enough so that the rest of the clan could figure something out in the future. He hasn't stopped working since, no matter how much it hurts him.
