Arpelio
Friend o' the Fae
charming, quirky, silly, cheerful, laughs a lot, mischievous at times
When Arpelio was young, he was always picked on and made fun of for having "imaginary friends". It took quite a long while before he found the confidence in himself to admit that he didn't care what other dragons thought of him. By the time he had gained the confidence he needed to grow, other dragons in his wind clan called him crazy. He was always rambling and debating with himself, it seemed, and never did he make an effort to talk and make friends with other dragons because of the bullying he suffered through as a hatchling.
What other dragons didn't bother to ask, however, was just who Arpelio was talking to. If they had tried to look past their selfish, hurtful ignorance, they would have learned that Arpelio had some of the greatest and most treasured friends a dragon could be graced with.
Arpelio was known in the fae society as a Friend of the Fae. He could see them, hear them, and interact with them without the fae having to reveal themselves first. It was a particularly rare ability, one that only dragons with strong magic in their hearts could harness. What made Arpelio different was that he was born with his ability, while most other dragons have to learn it.
Arpelio was lead to the lands of the Gladekeeper by his fae companions. They whispered to him a promise of a land where no one would judge him or dismiss him as just being delusional. He found a home with the Gladepool Nurturers, a clan that the fae often enjoyed visiting for their cleaner-than-most gladepools within the Gladeveins. The flowers here were well taken care of and offerings of milk were always left about in tiny, birdbath-like saucers, placed in the branches of their trees.
Orik and Arya welcomed the brightly colored tundra, along with his gifts, with happy hearts and warm smiles. The fae aren't the biggest allies, but they offer protection for the clan's plants and gardens and they bring an air of joy and mystical light to the place. Visiting dragons can sense the magic here because of Arpelio and his shrouded companions.
Arpelio eventually learned to play the flute, and often uses it as a way to please the fae for their hard work at protecting the lands of his clan. He throws little celebrations at each equinox, where he plays music and the clan honors the work of the fae by feasting and dancing, spreading general merriment all night long.

The Tea Gathering is basically just a big tea party that Amethyst throws for a few other dragons who enjoy her company more than others, and of course, the tea and goodies.
