Emrys, born as a Mirror in Plague’s territory, couldn’t really remember much of his hatching or home-clan. Happens to some, didn’t bother him much. You couldn’t change it in any case. All the same, he found himself bumbling about without a pack— lone Mirrors don’t tend to fare too well. However, just when he found his stomach rumbling after a failed steal attempt on an “abandoned” lair, he did stumble upon another Mirror. However, this lone Mirror seemed much more fierce than he. She was taking down a Shattered Serpent, but appeared to be faltering. While Emrys was trying to decide if she needed help or not, the dueling duo’s tangle brought them over to his hiding spot. Unwillingly brought into the fight, he did manage to fend off the Serpent, and managed to then start to get a word in edge wise with the other Mirror. Turned out her name was Firefly, and she had been a bit more of a Plague-drake than he. He attempted to turn on the charm, slightly, to perhaps convince her joining up wouldn’t be such a bad idea, but she saw straight through him. When he framed it like this however: “Well, with your claws, and my slight bit of wit, perhaps instead of doing all this bloody-work, we could, y’know, pilfer our way into more comfy living. Now I’m not saying steal from the needy or anything but… might be fun to start up a crew of sorts together rather than waste away in the Boneyard alone.” Suddenly the offer didn’t sound so bad. Of course, many things occurred since that chance meeting and how Emrys managed to learn how to lead his clan in all sorts of weather. He even ended up bringing the whole bunch into Light’s realm! All sorts of magics had affected him since the early days, and now with the deft hands of a Coatl, he could much more easily manipulate whatever he would be fiddling with (or trying to take!), and was all around much happier for it. He would fight when required, but never much cared too much for battle. Emrys knew he could always depend on his dear Firefly for aid. (And he was much too laid-back to train more often!) If she wasn’t around, he could always count on his Tigerblood Foo to surprise his foes as well… |
