Crimzie

Misfortune has followed little Crimzie everywhere ever since his birth.
It all started from getting bitten by an onyx cobra and carried on to other illnesses in his childhood, as well as several near-fatal accidents. Though his past hardships were rough, Crimzie prides himself in being a dragon with much faith in the future and determination in making the best of bad situations.

It wasn't until his teens that Crimzie the possible fault of his misfortunes was revealed. Though not blood-related, Crimzie always considered Scumwing to be his real father, as the Ridgeback stayed with their clan and with his mother Driiya, unlike his biological father. After a particularly ill-fated scavenging hunt, Crimzie found himself bed-ridden. Fearing for her son's life, Driiya called Scumwing out on his past as a thief. From his bed, in the midst of his sleep, Crimzie heard the entire argument.

"If you don't go return that cursed artifact to Him this instant, I'm going to make you regret ever hatching. It's cursed my son and by Windsinger, I will not hesitate to curse you in return!"

The following morning Scumwing was gone, having escaped in the night. Enraged, Driiya bid her farewells to Crimzie, promising to catch the Ridgeback and fix everything. Crimzie was left in the care of the rest of the small clan.

Days turned to weeks, weeks to months. Misfortune continued to follow the clan and Crimzie watched his mother's legacy, her family, suffer. On a starlit, clear night, Crimzie gazed at the ocean separating the Windswept Plateau from the Southern Icefield and made a decision.
He would fix this with his very own hands.

In the coldest, harshest parts of the Icefield, Crimzie met face to face with Icewarden himself.
And was promptly sent back on his way after a rather awkward conversation and apology attempt.
