"Hmm.. I've never been so far away from home..."

From what can be put together, Alpenrose has been lost for a very Very long time. She was found in warm winter clothes and a pouch of gathered food. As she walked, her form moved mechanically, jolting and lurching as her body fell apart around her. Still, she kept going.

Her arrival into the clan was not as seamless as many of the other members, and she didn't have a hard time pissing dragons off. Food hoarding was an especially aggravating habit of hers, and it took a long while to accept that it was an act out of a mindless drive to survive, not an act of greed.

Now she's weathered to almost nothing, wordlessly following Pestilence like a frigid shadow. She sticks close for the most part, but when storms blow in she's nowhere to be found. Days she disappears, the others swear they see shadows in the corners of their eyes, and they stay paranoid until she comes back.
