Long ago, Farore was a mortal dragon with a terminal illness she shared with her sisters. Known all over Sorneith as a top-class warrior, her main goal was to eliminate reborn Emperors from places where Imperials had suffered losses. She and her sisters, Nayru and Din, were all interested in Emperors in some way, though she preferred to smite the beasts rather than try to study or tame them. The sisters eventually split and lived their lives seperately, though Farore and Nayru remained amicable. Though her illness made it difficult, Farore continued to follow word of Emperor sightings and destroy them. In the midst of a battle, she began to succumb to the disease in her veins, physically weakening her by the moment. Using a last burst of her magic to end the abominations, she flew with away desperately from the battlefield until she found herself on the western shores of the Windswept Plateau. The Twisting Crescendo was before her - being so near to it was already pulling her to the eye of the vortex. She let the swirling, unrelenting winds draw her in and she pushed down, down, down... laying at last at the bottom of the cyclone, she used her remaining magic to seperate her soul from her physical form, and become a Spirit.
