Kind, gentle, and very caring to his clanmates, Currant is known among his peers as the type of dragon who finds enjoyment in anything. On top of being a good mentor, he's a skilled hunter with quick reflexes, and a valuable ally. His peers have questioned he's any good at surprise attacks or stealth missions because of his bright colors, and admittedly, he's not. But Currant does make up for it in clever tactics and great leadership.
 
One day while out fishing, he came across an injured Depin and immediately took the wounded creature into his care. Forming a powerful bond with her, he gave her the name of Maki and wished to keep her as a companion. Although Nikron refused to let her stay at first, Currant's best friend Verarira stood up for him and the familiar was allowed to make the clan her home.
