Cheerful. Brilliant. Lively. Headstrong.

The daughter of the Mad Queen of the North, Salem had been bred to continue the dynasty, a destiny that she didn't want any part of. She was to be a trophy for some other dragon and pump out clutch after clutch of eggs. Her gorgeous coloring and stunning intellect were traits that would serve her children well. The problem was, she didn't want any.

This didn't go over well with her mother when she voiced the thought. The two fought and Salem was forced to retreat. Bleeding from her wounds and on the verge of death, it was luck that Esryth and Fildroa happened upon her. Immediately, they took her in.

After nursing the young Dragon back to health, the two offered a position in their growing family. One Salem gladly accepted.
