Guile

From a young age, Guile was viewed as unusual by her birth clan. She had an obsession with the interplay of light and shadow, and was frequently seen climbing tall trees to better observe the sun. Though her family tried to play it off as eccentricity, it was clear she wouldn't thrive in a traditionally-minded shadow clan.

When she reached maturity, Guile left her birth clan. She traveled through the Tangled Woods until she reached a tall pine tree on the very edge of the Sunbeam Ruins. It was solitary, many shadow dragons not wanting to venture that close to the light. Which was, unfortunately, perfect. Guile went weeks without seeing another dragon.

She built her nest near the base of the tree, but high enough that it couldn't be reached by the serthis clans on the ground. She lived there peacefully for a few short months until a hopelessly lost young mirror stumbled upon her lair. She let him stick around, somehow enjoying the company despite several misunderstandings.

She found a few other lone dragons wandering the woods and encouraged them to join her fledgling clan. She took up the mantle of leadership for a while before resigning in favor of her research. Sestican leads the clan now for better or for worse.

She's mated occasionally throughout her life, but when Abzu left to serve the Earthshaker she withdrew from everyone. Charity is the only dragon permitted to enter her lair and even then he only visits to bring her food.

Guile, surrounded by a growing clan, is back to her solitary lifestyle. Even she isn't sure if that's what she wants.
