Meladi was originally a determined young tundra who was ready to set out and see the world to find a place to call home. She eventually found it, a small cave in the Starfall Isles to call her own. Little did she know that a guardian had already taken residence. The guardian was more curious than anything (which got him banished from his original home in the first place) and ended up befriending the stranger that wandered into his cave. The two started welcoming in more dragons when they had room and often permitted dragons to come rest for a night or two before continuing on their way. Meladi and the guardian, known as Screamer, would be proud leaders and founders of the clan, that is, until May.

Both Meladi and her mate Screamer had left the clan upon May's takeover, living life on the run for over a year. Upon finding May's own banishment, the two decide to return to the clan, surprised to see that all their children had gone and found that the only one who remembered them was May's son, August. Regardless of their status, they were taken in by the clan as one of their own once again. Here, they're safe and watch over the younger dragons. It's been a while since Meladi had a nest, but she's considering it again in the future.
