Biography

Water Flight Subspecies: Kohaku Koi

The Kohaku Koi dragons, characterized by their brilliant white and red marks, are the most brilliant example of perseverance, due to their tendency to swim upstream, never stop moving, and resist simply “going with the flow”. They tend to become very important in their Clan, at the point of becoming sort of a role model, because they show how to remain strong in the face of adversity, never give up, and develop strength of character, achieving purpose and ultimate success through perseverance even if faced with poor odds. They’re best suited for active roles because of their overflowing energy and inability to stay still.

Unlike their Calico cousins, the Kohaku dragons are not associated with “good luck” and tend to not pay attention to such things. They only focus on the here and now, working steadily to achieve their goals. That sometimes leads them to be stubborn and careless of that surrounds them, pointing directly at their purpose but distancing themselves from their surroundings and relatives.

They usually love traveling to new places, making new acquaintances, and eating good food. They live in large families, but tend to leave the hatchlings free to do anything they want. It might be seen as carelessness, but in their opinion making them experience new things on their own is a good way to let them develop their personality. Their colonies are most prolific in clean and not too deep waters.
