The trees, caught within the crossfire of equals, were both gold and ebony. His wings, like the unfortunate trees, were a mixture of both the Light and Dark. Their elegant gold was becoming rather dark, tints of teal appearing upon them. This place, where Equilibrium was most evident, spared no living creature, the battle of Light and Shadow obvious wherever one would look. On one side, the dark mist swirled, beckoning the Fae to come closer. On the other, the bleached ruins whispered to him, urging him near. Both had an allure to them, and whichever one he chose would soon be his. However, something just didn't feel right; why awaken here, of all places? Something behind him, within the darkness, startled the Fae far into the Light. The blinding sun struck him at full force, yet, it's warmth soon reassured him. Something was waiting for him, within these bleached ruins. Something important. Within the maze of pillars and walls, he knew, somebody was awaiting him. Maybe they didn't know it just yet, but he felt it, within his bones. Whoever she was, he knew it at first sight. A Fae, like him, resting within the wall. Pairs of golden eyes met, soon enough, an odd silence broken by nature's melody. The dripping of water could be heard somewhere nearby, but that seemed unimportant. This was where he belonged, he knew. A wonderful energy was within the place. He could relish within this warmth and watch this Fae all day, but it seemed that the option of doing so was not one he could pick; well, not anymore. "Come here, please.
