Amaranth

The matriarch and leader of the Coterie. She is more interested in her own personal projects, though, and most of the traditional leadership assignments go to her deputy, Shemlen.

Amaranth's egg was Arcane in origin and she was raised in an Arcane lair, however her egg did spend a brief time in Light territory before hatching, and it is evident in her disposition - a lovechild between Arcane and Light, she is fascinated with any form of learning about any sort of occurence be it mystic or natural. Combined with her Coterie's current and permanent residence in the Nature flight, Amaranth is most fascinated with the circle of life and how it works and is affected. Her goal - and by extension, her clan's goal - is to crack the secret to immortality. She spends most of her days and nights working towards this.

As a person, Amaranth is very friendly - sometimes overly so - and very excitable. She spends a lot of time with all the younglings in her clan, and takes particular time to spend with the Fae children so they can learn about themselves with someone who's not their mother or father.
