Biography

Update 2022: Aberration

Ezrael's quiet and detached nature from the rest of the clan and passing over leadership meant, functionally, there was not much of a change once she suddenly disappeared for years without warning. Her absence was felt throughout the whole clan however, regardless of it going unvoiced. Taciturn and sparse of words though she may be, she managed to make quite a few bonds with others, some of the most meaningful in the clan, and those she left behind could not bear the grief of her sudden absence and lack of closure. Many who had the choice slowly fell away and departed, having no reason to stay in such a clan completely taken over by Merkebah's experimental research.

One day however, the lair was suddenly attacked. The two-headed monstrosity crashed through, defeating the warriors with ease as if knowing their tactics a little too well, and demanded to see Merkebah to speak to them directly. Despite some hesitancy, Merkebah did indeed grant them audience and requested their name, what they were, and what they wanted. The monster laughed, and responded that its their dear Ezrael, the rightful leader of the clan, and she was there to claim it back. The shock was unprecedented and everyone thought them mad, but Eremiel tested the arcane energies within and was able to confirm that this was indeed, the very same dragon. With great apprehension and wariness, she was allowed back into the clan, but her physical and personality changes alongside her initial aggression from her return made the current leaders stress that she cannot just have her way and must earn her trust back. She just responded with a wicked laugh, but accepted their proposal for now.

Compared to the quiet and stoic Mirror everyone once knew, her personality appears to have done a complete 180, presenting itself now as a cunning, domineering, haughty attitude. Even more, it appears that Ezrael's personality was fragmented between the two heads, not quite the same being but not quite separate either, clearly having access to the same thoughts and feelings but not having full autonomous control over the other, and neither identifies themself as a different individual from the other. Of the two one head is more aggressive and the other is more quiet and calculating. Some have taken to speculating which is the "true" Ezrael, but she once exclaimed herself amidst the unsaid words that both of herself has always existed, whether anyone wants to acknowledge it or not.

Despite the years and all the changes, Ezrael does appear to remember her old clanmates she has had a soft side for, and seems to have made and effort to check up on them, though has not initiated any interactions on her own side and is the only area she appears unsure of, and there is a profound awkwardness hanging in the air in this situation. A few of these clanmates however, have tried to seek her out, and to those it is clear she is responding to with as much kindness as she can muster.

Pre 2022: Mirror

It's rare to see a Mirror living in the territory of the Arcane Flight, even more so to be leading a position of a clan within it.

Yet her eyes pulse and swirl with contained Arcane magics, waiting to be released. It is said that she was one of the few dragons who have been born out of the raw energies of the land. A Mirror, created entirely from magic, she had much trouble controlling the magic energies until she was aided by Ramiel.

Quiet, yet blunt, she is respected and her orders are carried out without much conflict, even if the other dragons do not know her very well. She is also the leader of the fighters that battle in the Coliseum.

Formerly the leader of the clan, she has since given the position to Merkebah who she has encountered during Starfall. Awed by seeing the other mirror overflowing with the same magics within her as well as master them completely, she follows their lead without question, much to the dismay of other members of the clan.
