A regal figurehead known for her serene attitude and aura of respect, she is the clan's unbinding matriarch. She balances out her mate's hotheaded nature, cooly ensuring that he doesn't send the clan into chaotic ruin with his aggressive attitude. Many believe it is actually Kassi who is in charge, whispering preferred plans to her mate. If she is crossed she can become extremely manipulative and make sure that anyone she doesn't like is ostracized and driven away from the clan.

Without her mate Kai knowing, Kassi has had two brief separate affairs with ex-clanmates. Only the oldest clan-members Jessamine and Midas know of her exalted children and they keep quiet, fearing both Kai's eventual destructive wrath as well as Kassi's shrewd revenge.
