Bristle is a quiet dragon who prefers napping to all other activities. Unlike other tundras, he prefers to sleep high above the ground, often in treetops. Many large trees surrounding the clan have telltale worn branches which have become smooth from his constant dozing. While some equate his lethargy with detachment, he is deeply connected to his clan and guards them during his time awake. Even while asleep, his high vantage points mean he is often the first to notice intruders or trouble. His quiet voice might be easily missed but his alarm call is unmistakable.

Because of his sleeping habits, the subject of dreams is often brought up; however, he never gives a clear answer. It has become a topic of speculation and some wonder if they might be prophetic or otherwise special. Because of this, his warnings and advice are often taken seriously.
