Takaera is Shelter Valley's lead security officer and official captain of the Baivast Militia. She also served as Minosahl's lead advisor during his reign as High Elder of the Compact.

OFFICIAL BIOGRAPHY

While she upholds an intimidating appearance, Takaera is one of South Shore's more agreeable residents. She is kind and tolerant, but strict to those under her command. Still, those who don't know her, or haven't for long tend to be wary.

She and Minosahl are good friends. The two would trust each other with their lives and are almost inseparable (though they are prone to bicker) She keeps the details of their meeting secret at his insistence.

Her gauntlets are a prized possession. They were a gift.

Takaera keeps the militia under her thumb. She's quite scary when she wants to be, and the only dragon here who Deytano won't mess with. Good for her. I also hear she's quite the mage.
