Biography

Tijataal, Earthborn

Role: Clan Founder/Leader

Tijataal was hatched as a Progenitor by the Earthshaker as part of a large wave of dragons to reinforce Dragonhome’s numbers in a time of escalating threats from the other Flights. Even though he was created by the Earthshaker, his egg was placed in a hidden and safe location so that he would hatch on his own.

After hatching, he quickly met Aazexes, and the two quickly bonded as they were both alone at the time. Together with Nogra, they set to start a new clan at a small but healthy spring. Unfortunately they were set upon by local beast clans that used the spring in their ongoing campaigns against the dragons. After two fierce attacks, the trio were forced to flee, Tijataal in poor condition.

Their troubles weren’t over, as they were pursued by their victorious beastclans; however their numbers had been depleted significantly in their attacks. After wandering for a while, the three ended up being welcomed as new members into the ‘Twelve Pillars’ clan, a large and prosperous clan near Greatwyrm’s Breach. Things seemed to be going well, until Aazexes noticed some things didn’t add up.

It was their new ally Xevataaxes who discovered the truth: the Twelve Pillars were in fact slavers, using dragon and beast race alike to expand their territory while trading away the fruits of their labors. The three were captured, but just in time that their beast clan pursuers instigated an uprising that thwarted the Twelve Pillars and broke their strength and decimated the clan.

The new group, Tijataal, Aazexes, Nogra, and Xevataaxes, set out to the Pillar of the World to find answers, and hopefully some semblance of safety. Their hope was again short lived, for as they approached the swiftly advancing Lightning Flight initiated a ruinous fight for dominance. While the group was caught in the crossfire, they were escorted to safety and bore witness to a large new fissure break in the earth, quickly filling with water. It was here that they decided to make their home.

Far from being the only dragons to see the new potential for the fissure, they came into contact with many new dragons and clans, and helped to establish the friendly territorial games that the newly-christened ‘Thunder’s Rift’ clans used to denote territory between clans.

Tijataal is officially the leader of Mjalvigg, yet he knows he has a lot to learn, and is content to let other dragons more skilled than he take over roles for which they are better suited. While he still learns and still tries to understand his role, he has made many friends and allies, and would defend them with all his heart.
