Lyra is an easily excitable daughter of the stars. Bestowed with the Lightweavers runes, Lyra is highly attuned to the stars and their cycles as her parents were. She uses her gift from the Lightweaver to enhance the starlight she sees, and read the stars. The vast and clear expanses of the sky in the Icewarden's realm are just perfect for her magic and studies.

Her gift could be used in a very scientific way, but as her parents are no longer around to guide her studies, her vibrant imagination and inclination for the arcane, has lead her studies in other directions. Lyra believes that through study she can derive information from the stars dragons are born under the influence of, as well as glean information about the creation of their world and even the deities.

Lyra consults Milotic often, as his magic, as ditsy as he is, is far more powerful than hers. She studies under him as often as she can, and admires his enthusiasm and positive attitude. Although Lrya often misses her family back in the Lightweaver's domain, she tries to write to them often.

The names of various oracles and sibyls were passed around, until they heard the hatchling gently humming as she tried to figure out her still sticky wings. Her soft music and the glittering of stars across her claws naturally suggested the name Lyra.

She tends to use her musical gifts less now, with her studies under Milotic taking up most of her time and magic. However, she can still be heard humming and singing in the quieter moments of the day, and she still gets super excited every time a band of musicians pass through the clan, joining in their songs with her own fluting voice.
