Biography

The Warrior

Crimarr was born as most Guardians are - nestled in a coral hollow within Fishspine Reef. His family was small, typical for most Guardians, and very detached from one another. First, their parents left. With their duty to bring forth new life complete, they simply returned to their charges elsewhere. Then, slowly, his brothers and sister left to follow their instinctual drive for The Search. And then one day, Crimarr felt it too - a great feeling to roam, one he could feel from the tip of his tail to the spines on his face.

Leaving his home, Crimarr travelled many years around the world to seek his charge. Along the way he became an accomplished fighter, although more out of necessity than anything else. The world was not a safe place, and Crimarr used the gifts that Guardians are born with - immense strength, armoured hides and sharp fins - to ensure he would be alive to complete The Search.

And one day, he finally did.

Travelling in the Tangled Wood, he had stopped for a break by the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. It was not easy to miss - a beautiful old ruin, filled with treasure and various items obtained by members of the Shadow Flight. It was then, when he was relaxing on the stone, that he saw his charge. A great dragon emerged from the shadow in the middle of the forum, inky darkness flowing from her mouth. She looked up, and turned to observe the dragons who had gathered around her.

As the other dragons moved towards her to bow and swear fealty to her flight, she would nod and tap her snout against their heads to mark them as members of the Shadow Flight. Without hesitation, he joined them, finally knowing his journey was complete.

Crimarr serves as the head of Clan Darkscale, and it's combat master. Many a young dragon he has trained so that they could better serve the needs of the Shadowbinder when they were to be exalted. One day, Crimarr knows he too will follow that route and serve directly alongside his charge - but for now, his duties lie in maintaining the clan and training it's members. In his time, he was blessed by the Shadowbinder herself to allow him to change into a coatl - much more agile in battle, but with the same devotion to his master. His primary mate is Grahr.
