Boltfire

Boltfire's pack ran into Plasma's colony while they were migrating to the Shifting Expanse. In the midst of an immense storm, the fae colony sensed that a huge bolt of lightning was going to strike where the mirror pack had currently set up camp. The faes' attempts to warn the mirror pack of the imminent danger was met only with hostility and misunderstanding. It was not until Plasma intercepted the bolt and redirected it back into the sky that the mirror pack understood.

Witnessing this massive display of power, Boltfire knew he had to find a way to communicate his thanks to the young fae. For days he followed and watched the colony, studying them to figure out how to communicate with them. His pack mates often saw him near the edge of watering holes, staring at his reflection and wiggling his crests and fanning his wings in imitation of the fae's expressive crests. When he finally approached Plasma, she was amused by his crude fae-imitation, but endeared by his attempts to communicate in the way she understood best. When Plasma's colony and Boltfire's pack decided to move on, the two decided to stay in the Shifting Expanse and build a clan together.

He is fiercely protective of his mate and any dragon who wishes to join his clan must earn his respect first. His armor and familiar are gifts from Plasma.
