She was born with the desert spirit in her heart, be it cold winds or hot, the arid land is her birthplace and her true home. The dusty air currents carried her over slick rock and canyons, through sparse forests of pines that somehow clung to the rocks. The silence of the desert eased her soul, the lonely qworq of a distant raven the only thing stirring the solitude. As she looked across the stark but beautiful landscape she couldn't help but wonder what lay beyond the plains of her familiar home.
