Faelara was sent from her home clan to Subsolanus as a tiny hatchling, part of a diplomatic agreement between the two clans. The tiny red dragon was welcomed with open arms, and was quickly adopted by Elunari. The older dragon taught her how to hunt, and though she was the smallest Imperial in the clan at the time, she quickly made a name for herself among the top hunters.

After she came of age, Faelara returned to her home land to receive the marks of strength and cunning, as was the custom of her small Lightning clan. Her wings and body were painted with tattoos, the golden markings imbued with small amounts of light magic so they would never fade. Faelara soon departed, returning once again to clan Subsolanus.

Because of her beauty and prowess, Faelara is sought-after by many males in the clan, though she has refused all requests for courtship thus far. She and an Imperial by the name of Frosfyr shared one clutch together, but a fight soon after resulted in the end of their relationship. Two of her three hatchlings were sent to live with sister-clans, but her youngest, Terilynn, stayed behind.

Faelara was given the title of Head Hunter when the previous Head, Celesta, decided to step down due to age. She accepted the title readily, though a few in the clan believed she was still too young for such responsibilities.

Though her duties as Head Hunter of the Clan keep her busy, she often stops by the nursery to show the young dragons a few 'tricks of the trade.' She also uses the time to scope out which dragons she believes will make good hunters in the future.

Recently, Subsolanus has had a boom in new members and prospective allies, leading to a shortage of diplomats needed to keep the peace. Since she has more knowledge of diplomatic dealings than many of her other clan members, Faelara volunteered to be a temporary diplomat until more can be found and trained. She has temporarily passed on her duties as Head Hunter to a strong Wildclaw by the name of Dartmouth.
