Queen of the Fire Ants

About The Fire Ant Subspecies:
- They are a cave/tunnel dwelling dragons that burrow or dwell in the deepest depths of mountains.
- They swarm in large colonies that can be separated into 5 factions. Soldiers, Workers, Scientists, Egg Sitters, Hunter Gatherers.
- This subspecies is extremely weary of other species of dragon and can easily become hostile toward them if they venture to close to their marked boundaries.
- Their communities have one of, if not the most, hard working and efficient system of living that has been seen by dragon kind. But no other dragon species has figure out how it works.
The Fire Ant society thrives deep within the caves of an unknown mountain. Tough many have tried to find it, they never seemed to get close to the mysterious kingdom.
It is strictly forbidden for Fire Ants to leave their sanctuary, or to in any way interact with a dragon from the outside. (Though there are rumors that many daring dragons have dismissed this law in the passed and left their sanctuary through unknown means.)
And though other species know nothing but rumors. The Fire Ant Kingdom is ruled by a new queen after the lasts passing, (The current Queen being Ranadi) a long time ago an old Queen who thought the Fire Ant blood line should not be tainted by other breeds, sought refuge in the mountains & hid her and her people away.
Through the years their society has been growing and though some wish to join the outside world again, there are many who think the outside is nothing but a wasteland covered in dust. That if any dragon were to go back up now, they would only find death. In starvation or to the hands of whatever beasts thrive above them.
The society eats from the species of animals they have gathered. They keep the animals well fed using cave grown greenery & the help of floating light lamps that expand thoughout the caverns. The Kingdom consists of six different large open caverns supported by thick mile long pillars that are usually used as a place of housing for hundreds of Fire Ants. The Main cavern features the castle at its center while the other caverns branch off from it.
Air circulation though the caves was constructed before the kingdom itself, seldom anyone knowns how it was done or how it works anymore. Only that their are many almost egg sized swirling tunnels along the roof and sides of the caves. Though it is no doubt done with the help of wind magic. (And there happens to be a few large wind tunnels that someone may just be able to use to crawl thought to the surface ;3)

Ranadi as Queen:
Ranadi is a tactile thinker who seldom does anything if the gain does not outweigh the setbacks.
As Queen she has bettered the living and efficiency of her kingdom but she has a hard time showing compassion. She is rarely one to smile and when she does it is awkward and looks forced,but those who know her personaly know that she is trying

Ranadi is a believer of Growth by separation (a law inacted by a past queen that states that Fire Ant Dragons remain separated from all other species. A Fire Ant's duty is to the colony and only the colony. A Fire ant could not have any relationship of any kind, outside of the colony. Dragons of other species are to remain outside colony territory, if one is found within the border they are to be killed. Any actions against this are punishable by death.) though she does not hold it to the same esteem previous queens had. She is far more linient with death sentences, and does not believe Fire Ants to be of higher standing than other races. (because of the influence of her predicessors a vast amount of racism has been brought forth and Ranadi is working to erase it.)
