Ieremija

While ambling through the woods one day Ieremija heard a scuffle and decided to investigate. This was both the best and worst decision of their life.
They came upon a Malevolent Spirit attacking a young defenceless fae dragon so they decided to intervene. However the Spirit was very strong and already in a frenzy so when Ieremija attacked it showed no mercy. It crushed the front half of their body, injuring their front legs and wings badly, although not before Ieremija had struck a fatal blow. The Spirit crawled off to die, leaving both dragons injured in the glade. The young fae dragon (who turned out to be Patch) was able to limp back to the clan for help.
Ieremija was taken in by the clan and looked after until they were fully recovered, by which time they had fallen in love with the friendly atmosphere so when they were asked if they would like to stay they wasted no time in accepting the offer!
Despite Shey and Winford’s best efforts, their front legs remained weak and their wings were beyond repair but with the aid of a couple of Finnegan’s clever devices (leg braces and prosthetic wings) Ieremija is able now to get around almost as well as before the injuries! They still struggle with a lot of pain though and prefer to spend most of their time with the older dragons who take life at a slower pace.
