While he is strong and intelligent, Caryo is a bit lacking in the area of wisdom and intuition. He is not the kind of dragon who sits idly by and allows life to pass him by. He would much rather choose his own destiny.

Caryo quite enjoys reading. He'll often sit back and read a good book when he's bored or when there aren't any more chores or jobs to be done. Sometimes, he'll even read during a particularly long, lonely stretch of his wandering.

If there is one thing Caryo does not like, it's laziness. He isn't lazy, and he won't stand for it coming from another dragon, especially when there's work to be done.

Caryo always wakes up early, a habit that his mother instilled in him. He's usually up long before the sun rises, doing something in the lair or on the ship. He always feels as though he needs to be doing something.

Despite his trickster nature, Caryo is quite charismatic, and loves being a gentleman towards the ladies. He is really very charming, and has had more than one dragon fall in love with him.

____Caryo was the firstborn son of a Wind Clan matriarch, which was celebrated by his mother. Because he was the firstborn son, that meant that he had big shoes to fill. He was expected to pull his weight, and his mother didn't accept any laziness from him. He had to help her with the chores and other duties. While he was not really interested in doing chores, he tolerated it because he had lots of playmates in the Clan to play with.

____Eventually, there came a time for Caryo when it was time to leave his birth Clan. After he grew up, and his mother had another nest of hatchlings to look after, Caryo knew it was time to make his own way in the world. He left his Clan and made his way towards the sea to become a pirate, something he had wanted to do ever since he was young.
