m24_book.png Once, a comet fell from the sky above the Icefields and the Plateau. This sort of event was rare, such phenomena was usually drawn by nature of itself to the Isles to the west. It plunged into the ocean there, and sank.

Or so the story goes.

Perhaps the comet didn't sink- perhaps it even carried something from beyond the watchful eyes of the Warden or path of the Singer. Such tales are the fodder of imaginative hatchlings and bored fledglings. Full dragons chuckle and pay little thought. After all, this was a rare event, not an unheard of one. Simply a small clawnote in the greater story of their lives, soon forgotten in the face of the coming Gala.

Astrophel is unsure of their origins. As one of the many elemental orphans, all they know is that their eyes are pale green, odd white spattering bits of their iris. They attribute this to being born in the shorelands of the Plateau, growing up with chips and chunks of ice and the winter breeze coming to rest in their home from the south.

Beyond that, they are simply a Wildclaw.

Well...

Besides the breath.

Astrophel has an odd condition by which they expel pink smoke when they exhale. There is no explanation for this, and with few memories of their youth beyond scenery, have no thought as to how they encountered something of Arcane origins. There is no curse, no spell laid upon them.

As they are unsure whether this smoke is toxic to other dragons, they have taken to wearing a mask fashioned to filter the unknown chemicals from the air, depositing the particles into cylinders to be carefully deposed of away from prying claws. Their voice comes out funny through the mask, and thus they have learned to sign instead.

Astrophel joined the Keep after a Gala event in a nearby trade hub, and followed Keepdragons back. Meeting Nebula and the strange dragons rumored to be more than dragon, they stayed out of curiosity, and now perform odd jobs where extra hands are needed.
