Sulis was always aware of whose blood she carried within her veins. It all seemed to loop back to the Rebel, the Traitor; REDACTED. Her ancestor, who had attempted to create an uprising against the Gods themselves and had managed to convince a fair number of those serving the Gods to turn against them. When the Gods banished her ancestor, they had almost decided to end the entire bloodline. It was only an act of mercy, and luck, that managed to convince them to only take action against ERROR herself.

Sulis was born a thousand years after her ancestor, and yet the tales still linger. Members of Her bloodline are coveted and feared in equal measure; they are powerful allies and dangerous foes. Many clans will turn away the Descendants for fear of bringing bad luck down on their clan. Many still believe that the children of ERROR are cursed by the gods.

Some of Sulis' earliest memories consist of one emotion: fear. Years of running from the truth, and from the overwhelming weight of her ancestor's shadow. It was a rare case of luck when her fearful retreats drew her near Sylvhurst. A clan so entrenched in magic barely blinked when a descendent of REDACTED laid roots just outside of the Northern Branches in a wooden hovel.

After settling in, Sulis opened up her own shop, filled to the ceiling with rare and dangerous magical objects. Sulis never tells where she gets the items from, but the theories range from murder to theft. In reality, Sulis uses her magic to pull the items into her shop. In a way, Sulis' shop is the dump of the world, where forgotten and dangerous items appear and make their home. Sulis isn't sure where they all come from, but they show up at random intervals.

Sulis herself has a reputation for being creepy and silent, and many dragons are discomforted by her habit of following them around her shop. In reality, however, she's simply making sure they don't get lost amongst the sheer endlessness of her store.
