Ocean
Ocean was always a traveler. A lonely egg hatched in The Starfall Isles. Studious as any other Arcane dragon she loved learning about the world around her. She traveled through Sornieth, never staying long, never having a place to call her home. And for a while, that was okay. She was happy. But.. Every once in a while she'd realise that everyone seems to have a place. Everyone, but her that is. She pushed those thoughts away.
One day when traveling through the dark forests of the Forum of the Obscured Crescent and admiring the land, plants and beings around her, she hear a voice. A voice quietly singing. Ocean walked towards it and saw the most beautiful dragon she'd ever seen. Her translucent dress flowed around her, along with the soft voice of a quiet song. They talked until the sun went down and Ocean kept coming back. Soon she stopped leaving altogether.
Ocean especially loved flying, seeing the world stretch beneath her, feeling the wind brushing her wings. Everyone seemed so small, everything so breathtaking, complex. It was always just her and the wind. What she loved even more, was flying with Alisa, who, unlike her soft demeanor may have suggested was a fast and agile flier.
She fell in love with the soft, shy Skydancer and her beautiful voice. And when one day Alisa asked her if she'd like to join her clan, Ocean agreed without a second thought. She still traveled, but now with her mate, who she loved more than foreign lands, more than flying. Who smiled at her, like she'd hung the sun and sang for her in a quiet, drifting voice. They traveled together, around the lands, but finally Ocean had something to come back to. She had a place. A home. She had friends in the clan who listened to her stories and waited for her to come back.
While other places are magnificent and interesting, there is nothing better than cuddling up to her mate and listening to her soft voice mingle with the wind. There is nothing better than home.
