Biography
Similar to Rorik, Marv excels at entering secure locations. Unlike Rorik, Marv doesn’t get in through an unlocked window or by hacking a security system. Marv goes undercover, infiltrating whatever organization wherever he’s needed. An expert in disguise and seduction, Marv has even infiltrated Clan Alys a couple times for fun. Marv loves his job in the Night’s Five, and really is not a fan of having to hang around Clan Alys during downtime.
When he is stuck hanging around the clan, Marv can often be found hanging around Rasputin or Keith, and/or drinking. Keith and Rasputin often try to press Marv for information about what he does when he vanishes for months at a time on what he calls ‘work business’. So far they’ve managed to get nothing out of him, and have been wildly theorizing that Marv is anything from the Emperor of a Space Empire, to he’s the leader of another clan, to that Marv is actually the Earthshaker in disguise. Marv’s personal favorite is the last one, and he’ll often introduce himself to Keith and Rasputin’s friends as “Marv, but you might know me as the Earthshaker”. Most get a laugh out of it, although one or two have been gullible enough or drunk enough to believe it.
Marv does not teach at Alys University. He is out of clan more often than not. Rasputin often tries to convince him to guest lecture, but Marv inevitably declines, saying “I’ve got nothing to contribute. Maybe you should get the Stormcatcher instead.” Or something similar.
Marv was the member of the Night’s Five to suggest they all date each other. There was immense tension in the Five when they all discovered they each had feelings for all the others, but Marv managed to take charge and convince the others that while untraditional, this was the best way to go.
