Nobody is quite sure when Hypnos appeared in the clan. It feels as if he's just always been, despite clear evidence otherwise. Mushussu claims to know when he joined if asked, but always appears to forget what was being discussed when asked for elaboration.

Hypnos may read the subconscious of those who are awake, and read the dreams of those deep in slumber. He may also divine one's fortune from dreams. When he wishes, he may eliminate his presence from the consciousness of those not looking directly at him. In this state, he may implant suggestions into the subconscious, though he cannot directly control anyone in this manner.
