Desiree

Desiree is a young dragon who is currently staying at the temple to study her strange brand of magic. Friends with Lireal, bonding over their stranger kinds of magic.

Left there by her Unlce and caretaker, Fabriel to study and learn to control her strange powers. Fabriel belongs to a mercenary group from the starwood strand who raised Desiree after her parents died when she was very young. Traveling while raising a child was hard, but raising a child with strange psychic powers she couldn't control was harder. He loved his niece, but no one in his group knew how to train her or help her. He wasn't sure what to do until a job took him and some others near a certain temple in the water flight. He decided it would be best for her to stay and learn with other magic users, although it would break his heart to see her leave.

She understands that the temple is helping her learn. Her teachers are kind and the other kids are weirdly...nice? They don't look at her weird when her power shows itself uncontrolably, or run away from her like some other kids she's met over her uncle's travels. They understand. They can do weird things too. But that doesn't mean she would rather live here than with her family. She would willingly put up with the stares and the hostility if it meant she could stay with everyone. With Uncle Fab, and Uncle Aravi, and Aunt Virion. But Uncle Fab insists that it's important. That she needs to learn about her powers.


She'll just have to learn fast so she can go home soon.
