Aurum is the complete opposite to her mate, Lenticula, as he is confident and loud, whereas she is quiet and more reserved. Some members of the clan wonder how they work together, as their personalities seem to be the complete opposite, while others believe that is exactly why they work. Aurum tends to let Lenticula do the talking, with small inputs here and there. She often prefers to be working on her duties as opposed to socialising for hours on end. She enjoys talking to other members of the clan, however she gets easily exhausted with spending lots of time around other dragons. As much as she loves Lenticula, it can exhaust her to spend extended periods of time with nothing to do but talk to him. She doesn't have anything against him - she's the same with all dragons - but sometimes she needs time to herself.

When Aurum is fulfilling duties, she prefers to work alone and generally in quiet areas. She is very productive with her work, and often finishes all of her tasks for the day well before the day is over. If this happens to be the case, Aurum goes to the leaders to ask for more tasks to do, as she prefers to get something done than sit around and do nothing.

Aurum is very trusting of other members of the clan, and always gives the benefit of the doubt if something goes wrong. This can be her downfall, however, as she can be far too trusting which occasionally means other dragons take advantage of her, and use her trusting nature as an alibi when they go against the clan rules. Aurum tries to be trusting, without being overly trusting, but so far she still gets taken advantage of.

As the messenger of the clan, Aurum is required to deliver messages within the clan, such as when the leaders have an announcement that they want everyone to know about, but also to pass along messages between clans. This often requires her to go on long flights alone to clans in different parts of the land. Sometimes, she'll join a flight representative on their journey to other clans, but most of the time she prefers to deliver messages alone. It gives her time to think whilst she's flying between clans, but also gives her a break from the constant noise of the clan.
