Biography
The Mother of Spirit Dimension
A long time ago, Pneuma was one of Arcanist's greatest magisters. They said she became furious after five failed attempts to meet her deity himself, and consumed with the drive to impress him; she devised a devastating plan.
The plan was far too impossible for anyone to achieve, but Pneuma was crazily dedicated. Nobody would see her much anymore after, knowing she was always locked up in her tower, drowning in research and practice. A year after another, she would slowly become more restless and outcast. They said they became unsettled whenever she was out of her tower, always muttering in incantations, requesting for rare type of magic ingredients, and dressed in glowing cloak. "She wasn't the same Pneuma we used to know", townsfolk would gossip.
One day, the pearlcatcher finally emerged her tower with steely determination, carrying a large scroll in her arms. The townsfolk gathered nearby, curious but afraid. "Want a new place where there isn't a deity?" Pneuma started, rolling out the scroll on the stone ground, "well, welcome to the new world!"
Soon as she finished her piece, the scroll began to glow brightly, flutter without wind's help even. Slowly, the scroll lifted itself off the ground towards the pearlcatcher, spiraling around her. Her arms outstretched towards the darkening sky, snapping them down in front of herself to open up a lavender colored portal behind herself.
Before she was even able to enter it herself, she was immediately lifted off the ground by an unknown force. She wailed, thrashed around in attempt to escape from whatever it was. In response, her body became hard, shiny, and contoured into a pose. Her noises ceased to silence as she was placed back onto the stony ground, lifeless. An unidentifiable dragon had disappeared through the portal before it closed, or before anyone could even stop them.
It was rumored that Arcanist himself was enraged by this, and turned her into a statue as a devastating reminder not to spite him. The portal probably had led into a new dimension, the color of it is known as forbidden spirit elemental and the dragon that entered it probably became the deity of the Spirit Dimension. A lot of tales and theories rose up the following day, and lasted for centuries.
